Join us on Thursday, December 5 from 10 AM to 12 PM at the San Luis Obispo Botanical Garden to create your own beautiful, living Succulent Holiday Tree! Artist Jayne Devencenzi will take you through the steps of creating and maintaining your own Succulent Tree. Succulents are low-maintenance, easy-to-grow plants that come in a wide variety of colors and textures. With care, your Tree will last as a beautiful centerpiece through the holiday season and beyond. All materials are provided for this hands-on class, and proceeds benefit the Garden. If you would like to bring succulent clippings to share, please cut at least 2-3 days before class to allow the cut to “harden.”
The cost is $65 for Garden members, $75 pubilc. Class is limited to 20 participants, register now to reserve your spot! To register click the link below, or call 805.541.1400x304.
Jayne Devencenzi, jewelry designer and retired school counselor, first began gardening with her father 60+ years ago. When she and her husband moved to SLO over 40 years ago, they bought bare land just outside the city limits. Decades later, they continue to explore gardening possibilities in their drought- tolerant, succulent filled landscape.
