Fifth Annual Garden Tour
Returns to the South County
Sponsored by Ron's Nursery

The Oceano Dunes and oak forests provide scenic backdrops in some of the spectacular gardens on this year's "Visions & Vistas" garden tour.  In a return to the South County, six gardens will be opened to ticket holders on Sunday, May 18.  Artists and musicians will add to the tour's ambiance.

A reserved catered lunch will be available for an additional cost of $10.00 and must be ordered and prepaid by May 14.  A lovely, peaceful setting and a nice place to sit awhile will be provided where you can enjoy the entertainment.

Tickets must be reserved and paid in advance.  Ticket prices are $30.00 for members and $40.00 for non members.  Click here to purchase your tickets now or call 541-1400 #302 or you can drop by the gift shop between 9am and 4pm Monday through Friday.

A light breakfast will be served at the gazebo behind the Arroyo Grande City Hall building on East Branch.  You will receive your tickets and tour map at the breakfast.  Some of the activities planned at various gardens during the day are:

  • music at every garden throughout the day
  • a garden model train will run through one of our gardens
  • lavender lemonade and lavender shortbread cookies
  • Tony Harmon the classical guitarist
  • complimentary olive oil tasting, a trio of clarinetists, a choral group and even a Dixieland jazz group
  • Linda Brownson’s dazzling photographs
  • watercolor artist Douglas Simms Stenhouse painting throughout the day

There is something for every taste. These are very special small and large gardens, so be prepared for a fantastic day in the South County. Be sure to dress in layers and wear your comfortable walking shoes.
